This short book shows how anyone can innovate through a simple framework illustrated through Elon Musk’s companies: Tesla, PayPal and SpaceX.

These innovation strategies can be adapted for simple and complex innovations.

The book introduces the concept of “material-to-proprietary novelty,” one of Tiisetso Maloma’s coined frameworks, which explains different degrees of innovation.

Through the lens of this framework, Tiisetso demonstrates how Musk has transformed groundbreaking ideas into great advancements across industries, including finance, automotive, and space travel.

The book weaves together the framework and Musk’s innovation tactics, providing readers with a simple-yet-deeper understanding.

By examining Musk’s strategies within this framework, the book illustrates their adaptability and potential for readers’ own innovation aspirations.

Why Humans Will Always Be Better Writers than ChatGPT: How to Beat AI

I hope this heading is arrogant enough. Beat that, ChatGPT!

This is where I explain what ChatGPT is. In short, I asked it to do so.

It replied: “ChatGPT uses deep learning to generate text responses. It’s trained on a large amount of text data and uses that information to predict what the next word in a sentence should be, based on the context. It uses this information to generate a response to a given prompt or input.”

ChatGPT is like Google, which went to a private school in Britain: It explains in detail in one go.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, thanks, ChatGPT.

My name is MacDonald Maloka. I am joined today by the author of ‘Introducing Ubuntu Stoicism’, Mr Tiisetso Maloma. He is, bizarrely, starting and naming a church after Dr Jordan Peterson.

Question (MacDonald): What is going on? Why are you starting and naming a church after Jordan Peterson?

Answer (Tiisetso Maloma):

I’ve always wanted to start a church. I guess it comes from being a South African.

The country is blessed with many churches and successful charismatic pastors. Of course, a lot of them are from outside the country.

The name ‘Stoicism’ derives from Stoa Poikile, ancient Greek for ‘painted porch’. It is literally renamed after a type of porch where Zeno and his followers gathered to discuss Zenonism ideas.

As such, it is sometimes referred to as ‘philosophy of the porch.’

Nelson Mandela’s favorite Poem | Invictus by William Ernest Henley | Read by Bafana Mtini | Introducing Ubuntu Stoicism

I had commissioned my friend and colleague, Bafana Mtini, to do voice promos for my book ‘Introducing Ubuntu Stoicism’ [https://buff.ly/3QvkZZa]

And because he has a great voice, I thought it would be fitting if he did a recording of the Invictus Poem by William Ernest Henley.

The book has a chapter on Nelson Mandela’s ‘stoicism’ and features bits of this poem which he has now become synonymous with: “I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.

William Ernest Henley was a Victorian era poet, writer and editor (lived between 1870 to 1903).
